Growing Tips:
To germinate the seeds just put them in a flower pot or individual cells. I like to use a flower pot. Just a medium clay pot with some nice potting soil works fine. Sprinkle in the seeds. You can put them all in if you like or save a few for later. Cover with about a half inch of nice friable soil and water well. Keep moist and also keep in a mild area with a temperature of around 65 to 75. It's okay if it gets down to 55 at night. These peppers can take cool weather. Don't get too hot. They should germinate in about 10 days give or take a few. Let them grow in the pot even if crowded for up to a month. Wait till they get a set of true leaves if possible. Then you can finally separate them and put them in single pots one plant per pot or possibly two. These pots can be small flower pots or whatever you have handy. Used paper cups, peat pots, terracotta anything. Put in nice rich soil. Keep moist and keep in sun. You can set them directly out into the garden but keep covered if you have pests that might eat them. Let them grow for another month or longer if necessary or desire. Then just set out in the garden about a foot to 2 ft apart per plant. They will grow for a decade. As they age trim off dead branches and if they get too tall and leggy consider a nice bamboo pole alongside of them that you can tie them to to keep them from blowing down in the wind. Water well to get established once you set them out. Keep them weeded and keep some compost, leaf mold or rotted manure or other organic fertilizer around the plants and a nice mulch is good too. Good luck and please send me photographs.
