A nineteenth century heritage bread wheat, long favored by French bakers for its protein content and rich, nutty flavor and aroma. Grown on our farm in partnership with the Rogue Valley Heritage Grain Project, this variety stood out for its tall upright stature, beautiful reddish hue, and productivity despite receiving no irrigation in our dry climate.

Each packet contains 1 ounce of seed, enough to seed around 100 square feet.

Sow in late fall in rows 12" apart, seeds spaced around 2"
