Description:

This stunning, deep purple barley originated in Tibet, where it has been grown for many generations. Nutrient dense, high in anthocyanins, and lower in gluten than wheat. The flavor is rich and nutty. Tibetan Purple was grown on our farm in partnership with the Rogue Valley Heritage Grain Project, and wowed us with its stunning heads and deep purple grains, as well as ease of threshing by at-home methods.

Each seed packet contains 1 ounce, which is enough to seed around 100 square feet.

Growing Tips:

Sow in late fall in rows 12" apart, spacing seeds 2" apart
