Description:
A red bell pepper that is consistently sweet and citrusy, but not at the expense of productivity, appearance, keeping quality or size. Twin Oaks Seed Farm has been selecting stock seed for several years with noticeable improvement for our conditions. This variety has been around for a long time so there is variation between the different strains out there. Our seedstock came from Baker Creek in 2010. This is the best-tasting red bell pepper we have found. It also holds up very well in the field until full ripeness. 115 seeds/g. Grown by Twin Oaks Seed Farm.

Have you noticed any disease resistances in this variety?

These peppers have a good bit less problem with fruit rot than other bell peppers I've grown. Other than that I can't speak to specific disease resistances.

Answer this question
Are your peppers on your farm isolated or bagged for seed purity?
Answers 1
-
We isolate sweet peppers by at least 200 feet to prevent crossing. Hot peppers are at least 600 feet from sweet peppers. I haven't observed any crossing in our seed.
