Growing Practices: No Pesticides No Herbicides No Fungicides No Synthetic Fertilizers

Latin Name: Zea mays

Days to Maturity: 90

Description:

One of the easiest to grow and earliest maturing popcorns. 6 ft plants produce 2-3 ears 6-8” long with dark, gem-like kernels that are so deeply red they appear black. Hearty, delicious flavor will provide nourishing snacks all winter long, and unlike store bought popcorn that is often several years old, freshly grown popcorn leaves few unpopped kernels. I love seasoning with coconut oil, turmeric, salt and a pinch of sugar.
