Description:
An absolutely beautiful yellow, orange, and red streaked heirloom from West Virginia. Disease-resistant and very productive. The best producing “German-type” tomato for Care of the Earth Community Farm. Tomatoes average close to 1lb, although they can be larger. Low-acid but flavorful and good for slicing. Plants are compact, like Cherokee Purple, and set a lot of fruit early. Note: bicolor tomatoes from Appalachia, including Hillbilly, can have trouble setting fruit in very high temperatures. 280 seeds/g.
