Description:
A delicious new plum-type tomato with dark brown/green stripes and reddish background. Very attractive! Thin skin, soft and melting texture. Few seeds. A nice artisan type tomato, would be a good marketing variety.
Performed well in our 2023 trial in wet, humid conditions where tomatoes are challenging.
Naturally Grown. 2023 crop.
Story of this Seed:
Received it from a local elderly man who grows a lot of tomatoes in Kentucky.
Growing Tips:
Start indoors around March 1st (Jan 1st-Feb 1st in Southern areas). Transplant at 5-6 weeks old after all danger of frost is past.

So, if you order a LIVE PLANT in November or January, for instance, it will ship the following March or April as weather allows. We cannot ship live plants during freezing weather, even if you live in Florida.
