Stocky Red Roaster-(Capsicum annuum)-This is an extremely sweet Italian frying or roasting type pepper. It was developed by a plant breeder in Oregon. The Stocky Red Roaster fruits grow 6 to 7 inches long and are about 2 inches wide at the stem. They are very smooth which aids in removing skin if roasting. They ripen from green to a rich red color. The Stocky Red Roaster Chile plants grow between 2-3 feet tall.
