Gatherers Gold-(Capsicum annuum)- This is an extremely sweet Italian frying or roasting type pepper. It was developed by a plant breeder in Oregon. It is an original farm variety from Oregon State University. These golden orange fruits can get up to 10 inches long and be over 2 inches wide at the stem. They are very similar in appearance and flavor to the Golden Treasure from Italy. The Gatherers Gold chile plants grow just over 2 feet tall.
