Love kale? This is an excellent fresh eating kale. Very tender and flavorful. Very winter hardy and also grows all summer long in the heat. We have trialed about 7-8 varieties of kale on our farm over the years of market farming, and this one is overall the very best. We save seed from the largest, healthiest winter survivor plants. Best kale going raw or cooked! Makes good kale chips also.

Originally obtained from the West coast, we grew it for years and starting saving seed from the largest, healthiest winter survivor plants on our farm.
Growing Tips:
Sow in August-September for fall/winter kale. Will also grow all summer long.

Shipping Policies
We generally ship all orders out within 3-5 business days via USPS Priority Mail. Any orders of LIVE PLANTS AND TREES ONLY SHIP DURING MARCH-AUGUST, WEATHER DEPENDING. So, if you order a LIVE PLANT in November or January, for instance, it will ship the following March or April as weather allows. We cannot ship live plants during freezing weather, even if you live in Florida.
Return & Refund Policy
No refunds on live plants. If your order is received in damaged condition please take several clear photographs and email us immediately at order@peacefulheritage.com.
