Story of this Seed:
We have been collecting cultivars of alpine strawberries for nearly 40 years. We collected red fruiting types initially. No white of yellow cultivars were available. We found Pineapple Crush seed at a.nursery in New England in 1991. Soon after we found White Solemacher in Europe. Yellow Wonder was available from the UK in the late 90’s. Ivory was the last cultivar of this collection collected in early 2010 from again, New England. We have been selecting these cultivars since collecting them. We have selected primarily for fruit flavor. As a result you may find the flavor of these cultivars to be a little different than fruit from other sources even though they have the same name.
